Filippos Antonopoulos will transition to become Executive Chairman

Chandler succeeds Filippos Antonopoulos, the company’s founder and CEO, who will transition to the role of Executive Chairman, while continuing as the controlling shareholder in OKTO PAYMENTS.
With over 30 years of experience in scaling businesses and leading innovation in the payments and fintech sectors at prominent organizations such as Visa, Mastercard, and Barclays, Edward Chandler brings a wealth of expertise to OKTO PAYMENTS. His appointment comes at a pivotal time as the company continues to strengthen its position as a global fintech powerhouse and accelerates its expansion in the digital-first commerce and embedded finance markets and industries. Edward’s focus as CEO will be to continue expanding OKTO PAYMENTS’ global footprint, enhancing its suite of payment solutions, and forging strategic partnerships – all aligned with the execution of OKTO PAYMENTS’ 2030 vision.
Alongside, Edward will join OKTO PAYMENTS’ Board of Directors, where he and Filippos will work together to jointly shape OKTO PAYMENTS’ strategy, drive corporate growth, and support the continued success of key global accounts.
